Four cameras start at $1,775 installed; what moves the number is camera count, cable runs, plate reading, and how long you keep video. See all starting prices and what moves them.

A small office in Winkler with a front door, a back door and a till is a smaller job. A shop in Morden with a fenced yard, a gate and outdoor storage is a bigger one.

Installed means the whole job. We run the cable, mount and aim each camera, set up your phone, and walk you through it before we leave.

What makes the price go up or down?

  • Camera count. Each camera adds hardware, cable and labour. Most small businesses need four to eight. A yard usually needs more.
  • Cable runs. A camera on the far corner of a yard, or on a second building, needs a long run or a wireless link. Distance often costs more than the camera.
  • Storage. Keeping footage longer, or from more cameras, needs a bigger recorder. Cloud recording swaps some of that for a monthly fee.
  • Special cameras. A camera set up to read licence plates at the gate costs more than a general view camera.
  • The building. Metal walls, high ceilings and finished interiors take more time to cable cleanly.
  • What you already have. Some existing cameras or cable can stay, which can bring the price down.

Can I keep the cost down?

Yes. Do it in stages. Cover the ways in first, then add the yard or the second building when the budget allows. We plan stage one so it does not need to be torn out later.

Placement saves money too. Four well-aimed cameras often show more than eight pointed at the wrong things.

What cost traps should I watch for?

  • Cheap cameras at night. A low-cost camera can look fine in daylight and lose detail after dark. That is often when you need it most.
  • Fees you did not plan for. Cloud recording carries a monthly fee. Ask what the system costs to run each year, not only to install.
  • A recorder in the open. An on-site recorder within reach can leave with everything else. Plan a safe spot for it, or add cloud backup.
  • Winter. The cold alone rarely kills a rated camera. A poor cable entry, housing or power supply still fails, and fixing it later costs more than doing it right.
  • The lowest number on the page. A low quote may have fewer cameras, shorter storage, or no plan for support. Put quotes side by side, line by line.

How do I get an exact price?

Book the free site walk. It takes about an hour, with no obligation. We look at your property the way someone with bad intentions would.

Then the quote shows each camera, where it points and what it costs. Our own technicians do the install, with no subcontractors, and we test everything before we leave.
